“I love to think out of the box.”
Boris started his experiments on light production with microwave technology in 2005. Soon this field became his passion, and he founded Plasma International GmbH in 2008. His goal was to develop an efficient horticultural light based on plasma lighting technology. Since 2008 he has had the opportunity to work with numerous prestigious research institutes and universities around the world. In this way he developed his knowledge in physics, biology and chemistry and is especially skilled in the field of interdependency between light spectrum and plant development / morphology and has become especially skilled.
For him everything is possible (and if not at the first sight: he finds a way). His passion is making visions become reality and that’s why he keeps developing and improving the plasma lighting technology continuously.
RICHARD REINKE
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
“I always enjoy the first sunrise of a light after finishing the production.”
Richard joined the team in 2018. He optimized the manufacturing process and made it ready for a serial production. Since then his major task is the quality management. As he is in charge for the planning and supervision of the production, he’s also the one who constantly has an eye on the process.
In all of his professional life he had to deal with the optimization of technical processes. This makes it easy for him to question the production processes continuously and ensure an ideal production flow and quality.
